Writing is rewriting

I’m close to finishing up two projects and I’ve very tempted to say, “this is good enough,” and just release the book. It’s a great feeling to release a book you’ve written. You should try it sometime.

I just finished the book Be a Writing Machine by M.L. Ronn. There was one part of the book that turned out to be a lightbulb moment for me.

No one cares about the book you’re about to release.

Most don’t care about the book you already released.

I have a very specific answer I give when people ask how writing is going.
