October 2024 Top Ten

1.

I read the first Sherlock Holmes book, A Study in Scarlet, and really enjoyed it. I think this is the third Sherlock Holmes book I’ve read and have enjoyed them all. Will probably go on to the next one soon.

2.

This Jacob Collier song is great.

3.

I read Abba’s Father by Brennan Manning and found it super helpful. Will definitely be reading it again.

4.

We read Pines by Blake Crouch for book club. I was hooked, but I probably won’t finish the series.

5.

This School of Life video was timely.

6.

I reread Live No Lies by John Mark Comer. It’s a regular read for me.

7.

I read the short book Does It Matter What I Believe? thinking to give it to a teenager asking some big questions. The book was alright, not quite right for a teenager, though.

8.

If I see a video of a person with a guitar, especially in front of some beautiful scenery, you better believe I’m clicking on it. Discovered this song from the algorithm.

9.

As a family, parents and little kids together, we drew Kirby using this video. It was fun.

10.

We watched Freddie Freeman hit the first ever walk-off grand slam in the World Series. It was wild.
